Tomatin Distillery, Inverness – Visitor Centre
Brief:
To produce concept designs for a new visitor centre and still house presentation suite, incorporating Tomatin 12 year old new branding.
‘Tomatin 12 year old is a classic single malt whisky, elegant and airy, with a big smooth texture’ inspired by the whisky qualities and the distilling process L Interior Designers designed an interior which complements the whisky experience. Furniture has been hand crafted in Scotland, using original Tomatin oak barrels which previously produced 12 year old whisky. The furniture for the still house suite is elegant and airy in design complementing the whisky. As each barrel of Tomatin whisky is unique, each chair shares the singular quality and history of the Tomain whisky making process.
Still house suite completed August 2008.
