
The brief for Whyte and Mackay, parent company of Dalmore Distillery, Alness, was to produce design concept for the visitor centre on the shores of the Cromarty firth, Scotland. The design focuses on incorporating the visual identity of the Dalmore brand, creating the ambience of a private members club with the introduction of the Dalmore corporate colours. The history of the Legend and the Clan Mackenzie introduced to the interior with the family motto ‘Luceo Non-Uro’ Translated as ‘I Shine, Not Burn’ etched on the hand-crafted fire place. Complemented with a bespoke rug with a ‘12 pointer’ Stag head the proud emblem of the Dalmore brand.
